All groups are encouraged to participate as long as their unit is appropriate for a “family” event. The emphasis is on children and families in celebration of all of Atlanta’s diverse backgrounds on a day when “everybody is Irish.” This year's St Patrick's Day Parade will take place in Midtown Atlanta on March 17th from noon to 1:30 PM. Operated under the Irish Network Atlanta, the parade is one of the oldest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the country.
